The Isle of Brimsker

The Isle of Brimsker was a multi-sensory spectacular for audiences with profound and multiple learning disabilities and their companions.

Where the waves meet the rock.

Toured 2018/2019

A lighthouse keeper lives alone on a desolate outcrop surrounded by stormy seas. Change is on the horizon but not in the form she expects. One day a runaway lands on the shore and together they face the inevitable.

Two women in dim lighting examine a glowing, translucent orb and a circular reflective surface, both wearing textured, layered clothing. Blue and green light creates a mystical atmosphere around them.

In preparation for your visit to The Isle of Brimsker you can look at the visual story.

Three women sit together, smiling and talking warmly. One woman in a wheelchair laughs, while another in a yellow knit hat gestures animatedly. Colorful, shimmering streamers hang in the background.
A person in a knit hat and shawl presents a small box to a smiling child in a wheelchair, as an adult behind the child looks on happily. Soft, colorful lights illuminate the scene, creating a magical atmosphere.
A man in rustic clothing plays an acoustic guitar and sings on stage, surrounded by green, translucent streamers and abstract set pieces; another person sits blurred in the background.
