    Lucy Garland & Amber Onat Gregory

    Lucy and Amber founded Frozen Light in 2013. Since that time they have devised, produced and toured five multisensory productions for audiences with PMLD: Tunnels; The Forest; HOME; The Isle of Brimsker and 2065. Fire Songs grew out of a vision to create a production where audiences were immersed in live singing, and bringing together different groups of the community.

    Thomas Johnson

    Tom studied at Oxford University. Choral compositions include: songs You Can Sing On a Small Train (a song cycle; Year of the Artist Award); Gilgamesh: an Oratorio (commissioned by Stroud Community Choir); Street of Bugles (an oratorio for Gloucestershire Youth Orchestra and Choir) ; and Four Songs for the End of Wars (a Three Choirs Festival commission composed for the Gloucester cathedral bells and a children’s choir). He is also a prolific composer for the theatre platform and has written over 100 scores for dozens of theatre companies. His music has been performed to audiences worldwide. He has also written scores for several BBC Radio 4 drama productions.

    Al Watts

    Al Watts worked with Frozen Light for twelve years.  He was the composer of Tunnels, The Forest, Home and The Isle of Brimsker alongside performing and touring in each of those shows.   Al was the founding musician in The Sensory Studio where he was part of the team for the first 3 years.  Al is a talented composer, guitarist and multi-instrumentalist based in Norwich.

    Lilach Davis

    Lilach was born in Israel and trained at Cygnet Training Theatre, Exeter. She has recently worked with Frozen Light on 2065, touring to venues such as artsdepot, The Lowry and Tobacco Factory, and appearing in 2065: The Multi-Sensory Movie. Other actor-musician work includes Goblin Theatre's Pinocchio and several devised family shows for HandMade Theatre. She has performed at the Edinburgh Fringe, Vault Festival, The Arcola, and many regional theatres and festivals across the UK. She is a member of pop brass band Brass United Social Club.

    Tom Benjamin

    Tom is an Actor & Musician from South Wales. Tom trained at Rose Bruford, and has worked extensively in the field of sensory theatre. He appeared in the autumn tour of Frozen Light’s show ‘2065’ as the New Recruit, and he currently works for Playground Kent delivering sensory workshops for children across the county. Tom is delighted to be returning to work with Frozen Light on ‘Fire Songs’ and is excited to share this powerful sensory show with an audience.

    Alfie Carpenter

    Musician and artist Alfie Carpenter is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and landscape artist from Suffolk. Having trained as a singer and composer at Leeds College of Music. Alfie now focuses on writing and performing original music as well as exhibiting his art across the UK. Alfie is also part of the artistic team in the Learning and Inclusion department at Snape Maltings Concert Hall, delivering meaningful musical workshops in various settings such as Care Homes, SEND and youth programmes.

    Hazel Simmons

    Originally from Cornwall, Hazel is an actor and musician with a love for singing, songwriting, and performing. She trained at the Guildford School of Acting, earning a BA Hons in Actor Musicianship. Past stage credits include Fisherman’s Friends: The Musical (UK Tour), Romeo and Juliet with Action to the Word,  Into the Night with Original Theatre Company, and productions of A Christmas Carol and The Importance of Being Earnest with The London Touring Players. An accomplished multi-instrumentalist, Hazel enjoys bringing music into her performances with the cello and guitar.

    Matt Heslop

    Matt had worked in orchestras, choirs and bands across Europe as a trombonist and organist before studying acting at Drama Centre London and later actor-musicianship at Rose Bruford College. In 2013, at the age of 16, he pioneered a project in Kosovo exploring communication through music and drama for people with learning difficulties in the Roma community. He was later recognised at the Youth in Action awards for his achievements in Music. He now works as an actor, musician, musical director, composer and orchestrator in both theatre and film.
