January - February 2026

Ballet Shoes: The Multi-Sensory Experience is a multi-sensory adaptation of the original show ‘Ballet Shoes’ a production of the National Theatre England.

Ballet Shoes is originally directed by Katy Rudd on a re-imagining of Noel Streatfeild’s beloved novel, in a new version by Kendall Feaver.

Frozen Light adapted the original show into a 1 hour long multi-sensory experience specifically created for audiences with profound and multiple learning disabilities.

Ballet Shoes: The Multi-Sensory Experience is the first time audiences with PMLD have been welcomed into a National Theatre stage.

6 individuals and their companions are invited to join us on stage where they can experience up close the set and props of the original production as they immerse themselves into the story.
